This topic clearly needs some attention -- I am not --- by far and many stars --- all that good at this game --- but I do try. Admittedly -- as mentioned before -- I am an avid ACWW person and I had abandoned this game :(
However -- last night I did get another Gold in the 150cc class -- ( light day for ACWW :) I need 3 more golds in the 150 cc class and then I will have all of them in the REAL tracks -- I do not like mirror mode and I doubt if I will do much with it. Therefore unlike some of our illustrious members I will never have any stars --- BUT you never know -- I might try for 1 star -- what does that require anyway ?

JJ -- time for you to let us know how you are doing --- what is your favorite track and WHEN will you be racing the wifi circuit ?

For now --- I will keep my rankings to myself :(

To get to be a star player, all you have to do is to get a 1-star rank on all of the tracks. When you race a track, depending on what time you get, you will recieve a rank of:

***, **, *, A, B, C, D, E

The *(asterisk) representing a star. If you get a star on everything in Grand Prix, including the Mirror Mode, than you will be awarded with a gold star! Eventually, if you work really hard, than you will be able to get 3 stars on everything and achieve the highest rank possible. In multiplayer, other people will be able to see how many stars you have. They will appear in a row above your name.

Glad you got the game JJ! It will be fun to hear your progress.

Easy for you to say ! You with your 3 stars -- and me with my --- oh yes I am not going to mention that :)

Well JJ --- I do hope you are quite successful but I have found it challenging just to get the golds ( still 2 to go
in original mode ) Now --- to get a star in the mirror mode -- let alone 3 ---- Not gonna happen for me !

I still have fun trying and I do like --- sort of maybe --- well -- not really --- but then --- it does give you something to keep working for -- but my it is annoying THE RANKINGS !

I AM IN AWE --- TOTALLY IMPRESSED AND IN AWE OF THE 3 STAR PLAYERS -- the 2 star players are impressive also --- hmmmmmmm runs in some families.

I could not figure out how to make the quote feature work --- soooooo the top line is from Beaus post --- just in case it is confusing. I will work on that.

Well, I don't know when I'm going to be able to get the connector, but I'm trying :)

I don't usually play Grand Prix. I usually do the battles or the VS but sometimes I'll do the missions. And on those I have gotten the ranks of * A, and B. Nothing more and nothing less.

I just figured out how to get a jump start on races today. :) I'm having so much fun with this game. :)

What's the rainbow road? Is that the weird looking thing that makes you spead up when you drive over it?

Sounds to me like you are doing great ----

Rainbow Road --- yuck ---- bah humbug --- some peoples favorite TRACK --- and you know who you are !
It is in the Special Cup --- it is colored like a Rainbow and twisty and turny and crooky and basically --
MAKES ME MOTION SICK !!!!!!!!!! You can fall off into oblivion almost anywhere on it. :(
When you are racing you are always hearing someone --- even the greats amongst us saying;
I f e l l OFF again !

Dreadful I say --- just dreadful ---- unless I win :)

And for the picky ones --- turny and crooky should be a word !

Playing the Grand Prix is very fun for me. I would recommend doing that more than anything else because it's the only things that you can really earn anything on. You can unlock many more vehicles and a few characters!

Just to give you a sneak peak at what's ahead for the people who play Grand Prix: There will eventually be 36 vehicles to choose from!

I agree. the Grand Prix is what opens up the game -- racing -- pure and simple -- that is the best part of a Kart game. Getting new Drivers and karts changes things :)

Look out --- JJ is ready to race --- I am so happy you were able to connect !

I finally palyed rainbow road. UGHHHHHHHH!!!! HTat thing is annoying as heck!!!! : I don't like it. I fell off twice out of three go rounds :(
