My Sims

Simply put, I think Animal Crossing fans will enjoy this immensely. Ok, Animal Crossing purists may hold to there first love but think of these My Sims in game features. You literally build your own house, you don't simply decorate house thats made available to you. You can actually help others decorate their homes. This game is looking nice and peaceful. I think it really will help Animal Crossings fans in there wait for the next AC game on Wii. :)

I am convinced -- when will we be able to get it in the US -- I am a devoted AC fan but I am very willing to give this game a chance :)

I have My Sims (Ben bought it for me, despite me saying not to). I honestly thought I wouldn't enjoy it.

How wrong I was. It's awesome. Its like The Sims crossed with Animal Crossing. I loved both those games. I have it for Wii, my sister has it for DS. I like the Wii version more, but I can't play it as I'm having problems getting it to register the dongle. It makes me sad, as I really do enjoy the game. Having people move into my town and building houses and businesses for them. ^_^

I need to get Ben to try cleaning the disk for me at his work.

Pip pip.

I am confused, are we talking about the My Sims for Wii ? I am not sure because of this topic. If so I have My Sims Wii but I do not like it. I do not think it is any where near as good as AC. The dreadful yellow brick wall that you have to wait through ( long long load time ) constantly ruins it for me. I do not like it much anyway -- all of those essence things are not fun. I have I think a 5 star town, whatever -- I just need 1 more star. The game does not have online so why do you need the Dongle ?

I mean the num-chuck (nun-chuck?). Huh.

Well, I liked My Sims for the Wii, though you're right, the loading times were pretty abysmal. I did get kind of sick waiting for stuff to load. None the less, I enjoyed building things and seeing how happy it made the other Sims). But I didn't play it for as long as I would have liked (due to problems relating to the num-chuck, which meant that I could build anything.

I was going to ask Ben to try and give it a wizz in the cleaner at his work, but apparently that's broken.

I had really wanted this game since I love AC so much. I was very disappointed with it. If I did build something I liked it was awful to put all those dumb essence things on it. The load time alone spoiled it for me. I guess someday I will do enough to get that last star so I can open up the beach area of the game. I do not know, I really do not like it. Animal Crossing it is NOT ! I also found building to be rather awkward at times.

I agree with you on all those things. But I haven't played on AC for so long (Mel stole my ACWW and played on it for a while). Buy then, I really liked The Sims and the The Sims 2. I tell myself I won't buy The Sims 3 when it comes out, but I probably will.

Maybe that's why we don't see eye to eye.
