By Kevin J. Anderson.

Interesting series of books. Sci-Fi. But good.

Look for book 1: Hidden Empire.

I recommend it, I really do. It's really quite a good read, and the story is captivating and addictive.

I did go to Amazon.com -- my source for wonderful big boxes of books --- the first book is only available used -- not a problem -- but the reviews were quite horrible --- did you like the first book as well --- or do they just get better --- I haven't placed my growing Amazon order as yet. I haven't even read about the later books in the series, but I will.

I appreciate book and author recommendations --- I am always looking for good books.

Kevin J. Anderson...I think I have a book by him...... yep, I do. It's a Star Wars book :) One of the Young Jedi Nights. It's called......Heirs of the Force. Good book. :) Good author

Make that a few books by him. I have the Jedi Academy Trilogy too!! Those are good too!! I like Mara Jade, she's an awesome character, and a good jedi. If you've ever read the Star Wars books, you know what I'm talking about. :) I LOVE Star Wars :P

Just a word of warning:

Anderson obviously likes everyone to have "a partner". And while there are no graphic sex sences, there is insinuations to it. Nothing messy though.

and also, it's done from a multi-character persepctives sort of thing, and it can take a while to get used to it, and to remember who is who. There is, however, and index if you get very confused. Unfortunatly, I didn't find that until after I finished the first book, by which time I was used to the style.
