That's great that you were able to see all those sites and eat some of the traditional Chinese food. I really like the Americanized version we get in restaurants here, I think it would be interesting to see how it differs from the real thing.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe she wants to go to the main part of China not Hong Kong. I'm not sure if she has a specific region or anything in mind.... China is a pretty big place.

China is a pretty big place.

Yep. And there are a lot of people. Vegetables cooked (by Asians) are good almost all the ways I have had them. Throw a little of this and that, and the vegetable and Presto! you have something to put on the rice and shovel in.

That message just made me laugh, ---- " put it on rice and the shovel it in" ---- you do have a way with words Panther.

Would every one please pray for JJ and her family --- they will be traveling home from China tomorrow.

That's how you eat Asian food. Chopsticks are pretty hard to use for individual bits of rice. Shoveling is much faster, and remember, you have to get it in before the rice gets cold. Once it cools, the rice doesn't stick together, and you really do have to get one grain at a time.

I'm praying. Travel from a foreign place can leave one...exhausted. And jetlagged. And travel can be a hassle.

OK I have to admit -- I use a fork -- chopsticks -- well that is fine for those with the proper determination and dexterity. I have never been that motivated -- I mean please -- a fork just works so well. I do not like for the rice to get cold though !

Yes I suppose JJ is or will be home or close to home soon, they were leaving on Monday in China but that was
almost a day ahead of here -- it has been very confusing. I have not heard from her yet though. I am praying for them as well. Travel is quite a hassle these days.

Rice -- one grain at a time -- now that would be troublesome.

I became quite at an expert at eating with chopsticks in China while I was there. They're actually not all that difficult. And eating rice with them was fun to learn, though sometimes frustrating. Depending on how stuck together the rice, or if it's fried rice what's in it, you really do basiccally just kind of use your chopsticks as a shovel. Not always, but the majority of the time.

Now I wish you all could hear the chopsticks joke by the Christian comedian, Brad Stine. It's hilarious, and wil have you laughing, I guarantee. He's really funny. He has three different recording's out on DVD of his sessions. One is called "Put A Helmet On", the second is "Brad Stine: A Conservative Unleashed", and the last is called "Tolerate This!". They are all really funny.

Thank you for prayers. The plane ride was nice and smooth, other from the fact that I had a kidney stone, and was in pain for the last four or five hours of the ride. When the stewardess came to help, after a while she felt bad because I was trying to lie down but it was working to well. So she took me to a seat in business class. My dad and I joked later on "If only you could get a kidney stone everytime we went flying." Haha. Business class was really nice. The chairs leaned really far back, almost to the point where they were flat, and they were pretty comfy. And I was put next to a window, so when it was morning again, I could see the clouds. So beautiful! The clouds look pretty amazing as you slice through them. And I could see over Southern California as we landed. I almost saw Disney Land but as I realized we were pasing over it, it was seen on the other side of the plane. It would have been cool to see it from up in the sky.

Well, this will be my last post for a bit. I struggling with a class in school, and until I can raise my grade and keep it steady, I won't be allowed on the computer. I hope I will raise the grade soon. In the meantime, I'll miss you all!
