Whew!
I've been pretty busy the past three or so weeks, and haven't really been home. In fact, I spent the last week in Chicago and just got back yesterday. I came back with a broken foot(amazingly, that's my first broken bone ever), but it doesn't hurt too much. The last three weeks have been great. I'll still probably be busier than I have been in the past, but things will definitely be calmer than they were in March.
I'll have more to say later. Right now I'm really tired, just wanted to check in. It looks like there's been a lot of activity on here lately too.
---
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

It is a good thing you did -- I was actually writing you gmail inquiring about the fact that it was past the " 2 weeks " for the visitors you told me about !
No need to send it now !
I am so glad to hear that it has been a good " vacation " from Lilbro -- because you were really really missed ! I guess it is OK since you had such a good time :) and were using your time well.
A broken foot -- now Oogy -- that was not a good idea. I guess you must be feeling well though since you are staying so busy --- that is great news indeed.
Yes I am very happy to say that it has been busy -- Panther is back -- I do enjoy him, and a friend of his Humira has joined us -- we have been discussing TP as well as other things and I have been very happy to have them.
JJ is in China on her mission trip -- she has been emailing me and I am truly enjoying hearing about her trip. I have never been to China and what she has to say is fascinating -- I imagine when she can she will tell everyone here about it. I will leave it to her to do that.
OK Oogy -- I am sure you do need to rest up and catch up with things at home, but I will expect to be seeing you regularly now. ( well I hope to anyway : ) cause I really did miss you.

Hey Himura, nice to meet you :)
Here's a little about how I spent my last three weeks.
Each year, a group of students comes down here from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago(which is about a 17 hour drive away counting stops and stuff). They come down to spend time visiting Native American churches in the area, many of which don't have pastors or anything. They also do a youth camp during the weekend in the middle of the time they are here.
So that's how I spent the first two weeks. I was running around to local Indian churches with them helping out when they needed help etc. It was really cool to see people coming from so many different places(1 from Romania, 1 from Finland, 1 from England, and 6 other from places scattered around the USA, plus me, and a guy that is down here from Minnesota) and so many different backgrounds that are all headed in different directions, but they were all coming together like that and really being on fire for the Lord. Plus during the youth retreat there were a couple of kids saved, and there was a girl saved at one of the churches that lived right next to the church but had never come until that night.
When the two weeks were almost over it was kind of sad because I probably won't see some of them again, and others I won't get to see very much. We worked it out though so that I could ride up to Chicago in the van with them. I stayed in their dorm rooms and they paid for my food on the weekend, then when the week started, I know some of the people that work at the college, so I was able to get a free meal card for the week I was there and just eat at the cafeteria. The they paid for me to take a train back to Texarkana(which is about 1 1/2 hours from here) and my parents came to pick me up. It was another good week. Most of them were busy since school started back an all, but I got to spend time with them here and there, plus I got to sit in on some classes and check out the school and stuff.
There were only two bad things about it. First, I broke my foot late Wednesday night. It doesn't hurt much though, I just can't really walk on it. The other bad thing was having to say goodbye to everyone. I got all their e-mails and stuff, but after pretty much living with them for three weeks that's just not the same lol.
It's good to be back though. I hope JJ is having a great time in China. One of the people in the group that I was with wants to move to China after she graduates so she can teach English and use that as a ministry.

You have doing a good sort of busy :) Glad to meet you too and yeah it is always much better to actually meet in person rather than through email and such media. It is joy to see how people from different cultures can come together to serve the Lord as one mind. It is fortunate that you were able to get accomidations and food while you were traveling back :) I hope your foot heals quickly...it must be hard not to walk around especially when you are used to always moving around everywhere non-stop.
I still need to meet JJ. Hopefully she comes back soon

Thanks for telling us of your excellent experience what a privilege it is to serve the Lord and I am so proud of you for being willing to.
The time spent in our area here sounds like it was very good indeed. What a rare moment in time that was -- like you said --- people from so many different areas -- different cultures --- all coming together with one purpose and goal, that is the amazing thing about Christians united in a common goal, so very much can be accomplished if everyone is focused on serving our Lord and Saviour. It must have been a very unique experience for them, working with the native Americans.
Making the trip back with the group sounds like fun and a very good experience for you. The time spent at Moody Bible Institute must have interesting. It sounds to me like they really wanted you to come back with them, I can understand that -- I would imagine you will miss them and they will all miss you. The experience you shared must have brought about a bond that an ordinary friendship could not establish so quickly.
Email sure isn't the same --- but it is much better than it used to be back in the very old days of my youth.
It still amazes me to be able to stay in touch with JJ while she is on her trip. I am really enjoying hearing about it as it all happens. She is having a great time Oogy and having some very special experiences -- I do not believe she is wasting a minute of her time there. They intend to be gone 10 days. I am so happy she can email me, we weren't should if she would get to or not.
You and JJ have done amazing things, but I have missed you. It has helped a lot having Himura and Panther here to keep me company but the best is for everyone to be posting. This is a very good group of people at Lilbro now -- I think it is going to stay interesting.
So Oogy -- the one thing you seem to have left out is ---- How did you break your foot ?????????
