I think you would like the books.
I like Return of the King the best, I like it after everyone is OK and the go back home. I also like the Shadowfax,
I like the riders of the Rohan. It is a little bit violent for me and do like the brighter and happier moments. I do not care for Gollum and all that precious stuff. I like Treebeard.
There is so much there, it is an amazing work.
Some of the finest moments come in the darkest part of the story. Sam carrying Frodo up the mountain for instance, that still brings a tear to my eye when I think of it. The fact is friendship within the story is at its best during times of darkness.

If Silas should actually post I would probably shout out loud when I saw it. I do love to hear what Silas has to say, it has been a long time. Thanks for letting me know that he might post some. We wouldn't want it to be too much of a shock.
Yes Jonah, there is strength in friendship in the darker moments of the story but their is joy in friendship in the happy times. I love it when Frodo finally wakes up and all the friends are bouncing on the bed and talking.
What about when Aragon acknowledges them after he is crowned. It is all an amazing work but some of it is pretty brutal. I realize the need but it is still not my favorite part.
It is an amazing work.

Would there be any topic that I don't know about that could be unburied from the old stack of posts?
