Well, I was just glancing through some of the older topics that haven't been posted in for a long time(some over a year), and I was just reading some of the dicussions we had. The laughs and the jokes. And it made me think "Ah... the good ol' times." And then I thought of the dicussions we are having right now. The laughs and the jokes that we have now. And I got to thinking. Even now we are making "Good Ol' Times" so that a year from now we'll look back and we'll think just that. "Ah... the good ol' times."
I don't know about you, but I want to look back on this site in a few years and have so many "good ol' times" I wouldn't be able to remember them all!! So, here's to the "Good Ol' Times." The times we've had, the times we're having, and the times we will have!
(A little random, I know)

That is one of the best ideas I have heard yet -- and you are right, we have had some wonderful times here and I am looking forward to many many more and this is the very best place ever so share some special stories and thoughts.
Perhaps something like you 16 th birthday -- I can not believe it has gone so fast.
Do you remember all of the cat dog stuff -- and when I had Tess spayed and when I got Wy and when you went to camp and had that wonderful miracle, and how about Big Bear and Scout -- when you got "little" Scout.
I remember how happy I was after having been here by myself for so long one day to my great surprise there was a post from Oogy ! He has turned out to be a blessing and a great friend. a_mario joined -- and I like him very much, he has been so nice and helpful, you are back and once in awhile Panther -- Lilbro is back and I think we will all make wonderful memories and I think we can support and encourage each other. Perhaps Jonah will have some time for this site as well as his own, what a contribution he has made when he does stop by.
Thank you for this topic JJ.

I'm so glad you like it! It jsut came to mind, and I thought it would be a wonderful idea. To relive all those wonderful memories and times we had together, over and over. And continue to make many more!!
I don't know if this was one of the best of times, thought it was certainly was an interesting time. And actually really made me think. But do you remember when You, Logan, and I had that dicussion about what type of praise and worship music is more appropriate. And you and I both agreed that as long as the song was glorifying God, praising Him, and lifting Him up, it was appropriate as a song of worship. But Logan kept insisting that they were appropriate(though I don't remember what his reason was), but instead that Hymns and Psalms were more appropriate. And really if you look at it, they're both appropriate for worship. Neither is better than the other. And worship isn't just singing, or making music. You should worship God in everything that you do, praising Him and giving Him the glory. That arguement went on for the longest time, until finally both you and I, Les, just decided to stop arguing and we didn't post in it anymore. Do you remember that?
Oh! I remember that miracle. That will have been two years ago in about... 4 or 5 months. Wow! It doesn't seem that long ago. I remember that when I told Logan about it he said I should be careful in what I believe, because it could have easily been false. But I know it wasn't. I saw the young man's broken collarbone myself, sticking up a little bit from it's place, though not through the skin. The next day I saw him swinging his arm and moving just fine, the bone completely healed. Now, that was amazing!
Oh my goodness!! It'll also be almost two eyars since I got Scout as well. In September it'll be two years. Wow!! Time just flies.

I do remember that JJ, and I think we just quit " discussing " ( surely we were not arguing ) because there was nothing left to say, you and I agreed completely and Logan felt differently. We both respect and care about Logan very much and I think we all decided that we would just do what we each believed to be worship. We all love the Lord and are trying to do the best we know how to live for him. I know that I will never be worthy and I pray daily for forgiveness and a closer walk with my Saviour. I have been hearing of late from several places about the Cross and how Jesus took our sins and because of that we can be saved. I did enjoy our discussions of faith and I think we all learned from them. Yes you and I do love the hymns of praise. Blessed Assurance is my most listened to music while using the computer. I play it over and over when I have music on. I never get tired of it.
You seemed so young back then when you had that experience at camp, I do remember it well. I am pleased to see that nothing has happened to change your mind since then.
Do you remember the long and on going talks about Lord O the Rings, Eragon, and of course my all time
favorite , Chroicles of Narnia ! Remember how I kept thinking and hoping that Brom would be back. I guess that is on my mind because the Eragon DVD is going to be released March 20th. We can finally have an Eragon the Movie topic !
Do you remember when you first got you DS and came to visit and thought you had to use the stylus and could not control your character and accidentally ran through my rare flowers ! You should see how many I have now.
We have had some very good times here at Lilbro and made some very strong friendships indeed.

Maybe arguing is too strong a word. But yes, after a while we just left it alone.
I was young... I still am, though. I'll always be young at heart. Just like you, Les. But I hope to mature and grow in my walk with the Lord, and my relationship with family and friends. But deep in ym heart there will always be that young innocent child with a passion and unwavering faith in Jesus.
I miss those talks so!! We ahve to start them up again. By the way, that email you sent me about Narnia. I didn't quite understand what it was talking about. Were they already casting a new movie. I don't remember that character from the books...
I still feel bad about running through your rare flowers... I still sue the stylist mostly to walk, because it's easier to get there if you're in a hurry. But I have a much better control and I'm used to it now. I won't be destroying any more flowers. :)
Indeed, we have. So many strong friendships. It's amazing how the Lord can bless you in different ways.

Yes indeed we are blessed, we have a lifelong friendship.
I do hope and pray that you will always have the heart of that innocent child, it is a wonderful thing to see. I think it makes it easier to draw closer to the our Saviour. We are his children. I do believe we can grow up and be responsible but be young and heart and thank you JJ. I have always wanted to stay young at heart. Even if we are hurt in life, we must keep a tender heart.
Awww -- well here we go with new memories.
They are making the movie Prince Caspian --- you know where we first my our dear friend Reepicheep. As you recall I am extremely fond of Reepicheep. I believe you are as well. Remember when we were drawing pictures of him. I am so anxious to see the movie. I had been worried about how they would portray Reepicheep but after seeing Aslan and the Beavers I am not worried anymore. I love Reepicheep. Remember the end of the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Ohhhhhhh I did cry a puddle. I still need to make a clay Reepicheep.
"Maybe arguing is too strong a word. But yes, after a while we just left it alone." I think JJ that is what we have to do as friends sometimes. We just agree to respect each other and disagree. HR and I have to do that
sometimes also. We do all have very strong beliefs when it comes to faith.
I am thankful for Lilbro, we are fortunate to have a place like this.

Oh, I see now. Reepicheep! Oh, I am fond of him! I'm sure they will do a wonderful job with him. I'm very excited now! ;D After Prince Caspian, they will most likely film Dawn Tread, wouldn't you agree? I can't wait to see The Horse and His Boy. I want to see Bree and Hwin!
I agree. We must always stay young at heart. Jesus said that you need the heart and faith of a child to enter the Kingdom of God. When you watch little children, or tell them about something, they are so wuick to believe and they ahve so much faith in what they believe in. And to me, Les, you are a kindred spirit, and in heart you are my age.

I thought you would remember him, we both loved him !
I do not know if they will make A Horse and his boy, I surely hope that they do. It is so different from the rest and I heard some where that they might group some of the books together.
Dawn Treader seems like the next logical movie --- oh my -- I will need a whole bos of tissues. I wonder how they would handle all of the little creatures in the water -- it could be beautiful.
Indeed we do need the heart of a child and faith of a child -- thank you for saying that JJ, I am going to borrow that to share with a friend about faith. Do you think maybe that the age matters less when we know that we will spend eternity together. That is a blessing for Christians.

Memorys! Good stuff. CATSES!!!! Eragon the movie was horrible. And I didn't even see it. Remember we kind of discussed the poor chances of it coming out good. Reepicheep! The gallant mouse and his loyal followers. Got to be the best character in Dawn Treader, although the Dufflepuds are pretty good too. "Ah, so you've come over the water? Powerful wet stuff, ain't it?"

I do intend to watch Eragon the movie but I have waited for the video which was out yesterday -- I will see it soon I expect. Yes I do remember our reservations of past discussions. It has been so long since I read the book perhaps I will not remember all of the details -- awww Brom and the good old talks.
By the way Tess says Hi, as do the other 4 legged friends.
Reepicheep -- it has to be Reepicheep ! How could it not be Reepicheep -- he is the best except for Aslan of course.
