I enjoyed all three Pirates movies. As for why there's so many 3's in theaters right now, it's because people pay to see them. Talk millions of people out of watching the movies, and they'll stop making them :P

I've not seen the third Caribbean movie yet. I really enjoyed the first one, the second, well, I thought "The Ninja" s review of it was pretty accurate and I didn't like it very much at all. I have no idea about the third one, but The Ninja said it was exactly the same film as number two :)

I need to start posting in my topic more often again...
One of my friends told me they wanted me to start posting the lyrics to a song in my blog each week(I did it last week, but they said they thought it should be a weekly thing), so I did that today.
I used to like running, but had to stop 4 1/2 years ago due to knee injury. I'd like to start running again though. I was looking yesterday and found this: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml It's a plan that I've heard other people say works to help get me back into running shape. This evening when it's cooler, I think I'm gonna do the first day of it.
I've only got one pair of shoes, and they're not really running shoes, so I'm not sure how well it will work out lol.
I think I'm going to go grocery shopping later today too. Not really fun, but it needs to be done.

Well, that is interesting! Though it could turn into a lot of work rather quickly I see :) Especially if people choose different things! Or is it a "vote" based system?

Yeah, I'm gonna go by whatever has the most votes whenever I'm ready to do the next part. If people kept choosing different things and I wrote for all of them, it would get exponentially more paths with each section. I like writing, but not quite that much lol. It could still end up being a lot of work, but it'll be a fun kind of work. I'm kind of curious to see where it ends up going.

I think Pirates has been the first thing that we don't agree on, Les. I love the movies.
Who's the ninja? Number three is not the same as number two. It's completely different. I think the third pirates was very good, though I predicted all the major points but one. But I still loved. My friend and I went to see it, and we wore pirates hats and bandanas just to be fun, and we ran into some friends at the theatre too. That's always fun. We had a great time, and my friend Ryan and I were commenting on it practically all the time. Saying things like "Well, that's unfortunate." When something silly happened, or the guy with the wooden eye lost it... again. Lol. I can't help it. I just really love the Pirates series. And I love the music too. My sister bought the first two soundtracks and we listen to them all the time in the car. Though that is a little weird.
Since you happened to mention it, has anyone seen the third Spiderman yet? I'm hesitant to see it. I loved the first one when it came out, but after a while it's just "meh, spiderman." And I didn't really care for the second one. Does anyone one know if the third one is any good?

interested.

Well, I saw the third Spiderman and while I didn't particularly care for it, I'd say it was better than the second Pirates film, but then again, apparently I'm outvoted on this one :)
The Ninja is a weekly video that is sent out, basically it's a guy who dresses like a Ninja and talks about what a Ninja would do in a situation. Like "All throughout this Pirates movie there was this Krakken. I mean, what's the big deal? I have personally fought a Krakken, it's not that hard!"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=3RSofwlndC0
If you get a chance, take a look, I honestly thought it was pretty accurate. I enjoyed the review more than the film I think ;) Though I too really like Hans Zimmer's music, it's funny how a whole lot of his music (from other movies) sounds very much the same.
"Basically, if you weren't a pirate in the last film, you're now a pirate."
