Dragonspell by Donita K. Paul is worth this list.
Think of Chronicles of Narnia with Dragons ! This author is a retired school teacher and mentors young writers, holding workshops and such. The book is wonderful as are Dragon Quest and Dragon Knight -- the second and third in the series. I can hardly wait to read the 4 th book, Dragonfire which will be out in 6 months and
10 days : )
The series is The Dragonkeeper Chronicles.
The website is:
www.dragonkeeper.us
HR has read the first book and agrees, it is wonderful. this is the sort of book that families will read -- it has a Christian message. The books are true treasures.
JJ I KNOW you will love these books and I believe your family would as well.
Oogy -- I think you and your family would enjoy them also.
I can't recommend them enough. Don't miss out.

Hola !
I am so happy to see you here a_mario ! I don't tell just anyone about Lilbro, I think you will like it and I know we are going to be very fortunate to have you. I will let JJ know you are here because I think she is studying Spanish. She is very nice and I think you will like her. I am determined to learn more Spanish even if it is a few words at a time : ) You already know Oogy from w-o-n and the Wii messages and of course we are old friends.
The books are great and have dragons and wizards and all sorts of interesting things, the story is very entertaining and the message is a very good one. HR ( my husband a_mario ) has read them too -- he liked them very much. I will loan them to our daughter next. JJ these are a must read for you ! I know you love dragon as much as I do. Oogy I guess you can finish Eragon first : ) Hey -- I heard that the DVD will be released 3/20/07 ! Finally we can talk about it.
Welcome a_mario.
Te cuidas and adios for now.

I forgot a_mario -- I ask on Wii but never did get an answer, does les como estas mean how are you ?
You used that phrase and forgot to tell me what it means -- it was on the Wii message board. I must add it to my list of things I have learned and I do not want to use it until I know what it means. :)
Thanks

I will definitely look into them!! Ah, so many books, so little time... I wish summer was here. Then I'd have all the time I need. But maybe I can get some books to take to China with me.
Bienvenida, a-mario. It's great to have another person!!

If only that were true -- I think you had less time last summer than you did during school !
You will love the books ! Great dragons and a Christian message -- sure to be classics.
Now I have to go find out what Bienvenida means -- a_mario provides the translation ! I am guessing goodnight or something like that -- oh well -- off to find out. Thanks for the new word.
a_mario -- I need you ! JJ is going to make me work !
Oogy -- did you study Spanish ? Silly me -- I took French -- but we were living in France at the time.

OK -- I now have me a handy translator --
Bienvenida does in fact mean welcome -- or so the translator says.
I have a new word -- thanks JJ !

Nope, I don't know much Spanish. The bits I do know are just random scattered pieces... mostly useless. For instance, I can say that a donkey is smarter than you are... or your mother is a crazy chicken. Don't ask why... I'm not really sure myself.
I didn't actually take any 2nd language class in high school. I was supposed to have two years of a foreign language, but for some reason my computer science class counted(because I was learning a Programming language maybe?). Didn't make much sense, but I didn't feel like learning Spanish at the time, and that was the only foreign language my school offered. Looking back, it might have come in handy. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess.
I did take a college course on basic German. Not sure how much of it I remember though. I think German has a lot of similarities to French even though they don't really sound the same.

heyyyyyyy i'm back. (Sorry i was bussy because here we have a carnival)
Thanks to everyone for the welcome. I'm happy to be here and post.
Yes Bienvenido means Welcome (here we have two options if you want to say welcome to a girl you say Bienvenida because is female and if you want to say welcome to a boy you say Bienvenido because is male :p) and ¿como estas? means how are you? if you want to answer this question you will say yo estoy bien y tu (I'm ok and you) I hope you can understand hehe.
Eragon i want to read it, i haven't seen the movie yet, but i will buy the book next week,in this moment I'm reading El viejo y el Mar (i think in English is The old man and the sea O_o) from Ernest heminway.
See you soon guys...
