I just won an iPod Shuffle! I won it from a site that is a search engine, and gives out prizes with money from ads. They say they ship their prizes out near the beginning of each month, so hopefully I'll get it in a couple weeks. I never win anything so I was suprised when I was just using it to search for something(I don't even remember what I was looking for) and it said I won an iPod.

Interesting -- I have never heard of winzy. Do they try to attach stuff after you leave the site ?

I think Winzy is a relatively new site. They don't attach anything whenever you leave the site. It works just like any other search engine. The only catch is that the first few links they have on there are "sponsored results", but Google does that too, and it's easy to just skip down to the "web results" which are the actual search results.

To be honest, I probably like Google better, and sometimes still revert back to using that whenever I can't find something on Winzy. Normally though, I just use Winzy and can find what I'm looking for... and it paid off the other day when I won that iPod. Can't wait 'til I actually get it.


Sorry I haven't really been posting much recently. The past few days I've had the flu or something and haven't really been doing much of anything.

This is a bad time to get the flu -- I hope you feel better soon, I did wonder why you were not posting.

We both just got over bad colds -- it sure does take awhile to get your energy back.

I will try that site then -- I am always curious and yes I would say that it paid off big time for you. I am like you, I never win anything. I just do not like those sites that after you leave things come on on the screen.
Let me know if they really do come through. That is a very nice prize.

How is the book coming -- I am ready to read another chapter : )

Whew! Took me a while to kick that sickness. I think I'm over it now though(finally).

I got an e-mail saying that they ordered my iPod Shuffle off of Apple's website with 5-7 day shipping. So, hopefully I'll get it sometime next week.

As for my book, I haven't really been able to think much while I was sick, so I haven't really made progress on it or anything else for that matter for like the past 1 1/2 - 2 weeks. So now I've got a lot of stuff I need to do :(


And JJ, if you're still sick, I hope you get better soon!

It must have been the flu ! This is a bad time of the year to get something like that. Do stay in -- 12 degrees this morning, I suppose it is just as cold at your house.

We are all so busy this time of the year. I haven't been here as much as usual either. I have been spending a
bit too much time playing Zelda -- the further I get into the game the more compelling it is. I do wish I had more time to play.

Well perhaps after the holidays you will feel well enough and have the time to get back to the book.

I need to check in on your Wii site and see how things are coming along -- I am uninformed -- what is Wii play.
Is that a game -- I of course have Wii Sports but I am not familiar with Wii play. I participate at another site and it is mostly people in the UK and they are talking about Wii play . You always seem so informed I thought perhaps you would know.

My site doesn't have anything about Wii Play I don't think. It is a game that is similar to Wii Sports in that it has a bunch of small games on it. In Europe, Japan, and Australia, I believe they are packaging it with an extra controller. I don't remember ever hearing anything about plans to release it in America, but I don't know why they wouldn't. Then again, I don't know why they haven't already...

I'm not sure how many games are on it. I remember ping pong(table tennis), billiards(I think), a fishing game, a "Where's Waldo" type game except with Miis, and I think a version of Duck Hunt that they made to work with the wiimote. I think there may have been more, but that's all that's coming to mind.



Yeah, I've been trying to stay in as much as possible. It's warm-er tonight, but still not warm. I've also been keeping a fire going in the fireplace.
