For those that are not playing -- this will contain some spoilers.

Of course the game is beautiful.

The early stages are very Zelda -- basically learning the game --- for me getting used to the very different control and method of play.

We begin our adventure as always in Link's house -- or in my game Les's house. ( nothing new there ) but you immediately realize that this is to be a very new experience.

Of course the first part although fun is more teaching the game play. Saving a Cradle from a monkey --- getting that cat back home and my personal favorite -- goat herding on Epona. Knocking down Bee hives is pretty good too. We meet a new friend.

Soon enough your peaceful world turns violent and ugly --- and the next thing you know you are the Wolf -- and in a difficult spot of course. We meet Midna and things will never be the same ! I found playing as the Wolf OK. Fun in some ways but there is a spot on top of the tower after you have escaped your predicament that I found the jump from the tower to the roof tops very difficult -- probably just me. Midna wants you to meet someone special --- yes of course as we all suspected it is Zelda -- a prisoner of course and she needs your help. She is quite beautiful and of course you agree. So off you go --- after you have completed the Wolf portion of your adventure you are a much improved Link/Les ! Awwwww yes --- the grand adventure awaits and we are off the the Forest Temple.

I completed that yesterday but I will save that for the next addition of Les's grand adventure.

I love the game. I have wanted to play nothing else -- not Wii sports or the other 2 games I got. I am getting used to the controls and I 100% recommend this game.

My but it has gotten quiet here again ! I must admit I have been playing when I have a few minutes but I decided I would say a little here.

I am deep into the Goron mines -- I suspect I am just about to the boss --- I have gotten the Hero's bow
( yeaaaaaa I love the bow ) and I have all 3 pieces I needed to find of something. I used one of the very nice new options and I am taking a little break before the boss fight.

The mines have been an experience -- the graphics are impressive and it does have some innovative new things. I didn't get lost much -- once or twice, but they were foolish mistakes. It has been very entertaining.
The fight for the bow was a little intense but not hard -- I just get very tense in situations like that.

I have had to fight battles on horseback -- I do not normally like the fighting but that is fun.

I do hope someone else is playing soon it would be nice to talk about the game.

I am out of the mines --- it was fun and I killed the boss the first try.

Things are much more interesting in Kakariko village --- some good things to get !

I guess I'll post in here since I've got my game now :) I played for a while before supper. In my game, I started at Oogy's house lol. So far it seems pretty fun, and I like the controls for the most part. I have a bit of trouble jumping when on the horse though. I didn't get to play as long as I would have liked and just got to the part where you turn into a dog, but haven't gotten out of my little cell yet. Anyway, supper is over, and I watched the TV shows I like to watch on Tuesday, so I'm about to turn it on again!

You are coming along quite nicely -- and you turn into a wolf ! It just gets better and better -- the first part is just teaching the newbies how to play -- now it starts to get interesting. I prefer playing as Les but the wolf and Midna add a nice touch and a good transition method ! I wish I was just starting out again -- see -- waiting has it's advantages. Did you like goat herding -- I still go all the way back and do that for fun every now and then -- I loved it. I will be waiting for the next progress report --- thanks for sharing.

That wolf can jump pretty far lol. So far, I'm enjoying it. I figure I should get some sleep tonight, so I decided to take a break. I'm now wearing the customary green garb :P I've got 3 little monkeys following me around too.

The goat herding was fun, but I have to point out that, realistically, it is easier to get goats to go where you want if you can lead them(at least with a herd no larger than that). And if they've got someone out there with them all day like that, they would know him well enough that they would just follow him into the shed. Just like a shepherd leads his flock. Oh well, it's not that big of a deal, I just tend to nitpick about random things like that. Maybe it's because the goats had been extra panicky recently ;) But yeah, I did have fun with the goat herding.

I'm not sure why this stuck with me, but for some reason I got a kick out of the cat that follows you around when you're in town as the wolf because you smell like Oogy(or Les, or Link or whatever).

Tis the writer in you -- and of course you are right -- however -- I just relax and enjoy the game -- I loved herding the goats on horse back and they don't even look like goats ! I think they must be wild Hylian
Caprine Critters. Clearly a type that is best herded on horseback and that do not form attachments to their
herders : )

So you have made it to the Forest Temple -- as I recall monkeys are heavily involved there. I was quite happy to begin to look like the legendary hero again.

Did you play Zelda a Link to the past -- remember the monkey in that.

Do you mean the white cat -- we of course come to know her better later and isn't she pretty. Telma's cat.

I like all the animals in the streets of Castle Town, I guess you are there by now -- you need to give me specifics so I do not say too much in my enthusiasm : )

I hope you rested well -- there is one particular part of the game that I actually dreamed about because it turns out I had made a really really silly mistake -- it involved a wagon trip -- tell me when you get there.

I do hope you enjoy this game -- I have raved on so about it. Keep the updates and your location coming --- please : )

Good morning Oogy.

I do that with movies too lol. I think I get that from my dad. If we watch a movie or something together we like to pick it apart. I like your explanation though :)

I just finished the forest temple. You're right, that place is heavily infested with monkeys. I had to defeat one of them to get the boomerang, then he later helped me out when fighting the boss. The boss was pretty easy, but I guess that's to be expected of the first real boss.

I already need a bigger wallet >_>

Yeah, I did play ALttP, but it's been a while so I only vaguely remember it.

I haven't been to Castle Town yet, I was on my way when I got changed into a wolf.

I haven't seen any wagons yet, so I guess I'm not there yet.

So far I'm enjoying it, though I'm gonna take a break and go check the mail since I didn't do that earlier. Probably dig up something to eat too.

I didn't want to get out of bed this morning lol. It's pretty cold here, and we've actually been having some snow flurries. It's pretty, but I think it's causing my arthritis to act up.

Well, I'm a wolf again. I saw the children that were kidnapped, but they couldn't see me. I also blew up a house to get some of the tears of light. That was pretty fun... stinks for whoever lived in the house though lol. There was another house full of explosives, but I didn't see any way to light them... maybe next time.

That's pretty much all I did this time, before I got off because my mom called and wanted to see if the weather was getting bad here(trying to figure out if she needed to leave early to get here safely or not).

I've got another update. I finished collecting all the tears in Kakariko Village. I now have another attack(the shield thrust), the iron boots, and a metal shield. I also went back and herded goats again :) Then I got to a big fight on horseback, that was very fun. I didn't expect fighting on horseback to be all that fun, but it was.

After saving the day again, I started toward Death Mountain. Even just the climb towards the entrance was fun. I'm glad I can change in and out of those boots quickly though, or I would have had to wear them the whole time. That would have made it rather slow! Anyway, after tossing aside rolling gorons and using others as trampolines, I made it to the entrance where the temporary leader of the gorons challenged me to a sumo wrestling match. Using my nifty boots, I shoved him out of the ring. Impressed by my strength, he asked for my help, and I now stand on the inside of the mines.

Time for a lunch break :)
