Sorry it's been a bit. Just started classes again two weeks ago. I'm taking fourteen units, and I have classes till almost four Monday through Thursday. Not a lot of time on my hands. But I'm enjoying my classes. I have English Literature, Intro to Lit, Elementary Algebra, Fundamentals of Acting, and Exercise Walking. So far, the only class I don't really like is Algebra. But that's because I could do the work in my sleep. Haha! It's really easy. But once we get more towards the middle end of the class I know it'll get harder.
Stephanie still lives at home so I wasn't alone for the couple days our parents were gone. No worries :) And if she lived on her own, I would've been just fine. Thanks for worrying though :) Sometimes I do get a little uneasy when I spend nights alone. Like when both my parents were working night shift, and my sister sometimes spent the night at a friend's house. It's weird being in our house alone. There's too much empty space. If I was in a smaller place I think it might be better. Like an apartment or something.
So, what's Chrono Trigger?
Did I tell you I got a tablet?! I finally got it uploaded to my computer, and I've been messing around with it. :) It's a lot of fun :D I've been coloring in some old drawings. Though I still have yet to make some original drawings with it : I'm not really sure how to go about doing that. But I have a friend that has been usign tablet for quite some time and she has been showing the ropes. I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm planning on uploading some of the drawings I've been playing around with to my DeviantArt. When I do I'll send you a link so you can see :)
One last thing before I post. I would like to ask you for prayer. I know I mentioned a couple months ago about the incident with gallstones and going to the ER. But I don't think I told you that I've continually had problems with the gallstones and the pain and having to take pain killers every now and then. Most of the time it depended on what I was eating that day. Spicy foods or tomato-y sauces tended to have bad reactions with my gall bladders. Or really fatty foods. Red meats too. But lately I've been having more problems with it, even though I've been trying really hard to eat healthier and not eat fatty foods. Two weeks ago(the night before my first day of classes) I had a bad episode that started out as a different kind of pain, though slowly grew into the regular pain. I had taken my Norco, but after two hours and no change I woke my dad up and we went to a local ER. Which was actually better because it went A LOT faster.
Ever since then I'm been having more regular problems. And both times I went to the hospital the doctor recommended I see a surgeon. Well, yesterday, I got a really bad sick to my stomach pain, which I thought was because I took my appetite reducer with red bull on an empty stomach. But after eat a little breakfast, nothing changed. We thought it might be the flu that's going around but nothing I took to help with the sick feeling helped. Then I started to get really bad nausea and dizziness. And my gall bladder pain hit a couple times during the day. It lasted the entire day. When I woke up this morning, it seemed to be gone. But after being awake for about half an hour, it all came back. I constantly feel like I need to vomit, but I can't and the gall bladder pain comes and goes. My dad is going to make an appointment for our doctor as soon as we can and look into making an appointment to see a surgeon. The most likely outcome is that I'm going to have surgery to have my gall bladder removed.
My dad thinks that the reason I've been having so many problems with my gall bladder is because I've been losing so much weight. After being overweight for so long, my body's been storing all this fat. And now suddenly I'm losing it all and it's overkill for my gall bladder having to process all the fat. Kind of feels like my body is punishing for finally doing something right and trying to be healthier. Apparently a lot of people have problems with their gall bladder when they lose weight if they've been heavy for a while, and their losing a lot.
I'm kind of scared of having the surgery. But I'm so tired of all the pain I've been having and being sick. I just want it all to be over.
Thank you, GL. :) I know I can always count on you for prayer :)
Good night.

Yes you absolutely can JJ. I am sorry to hear that you might have to have surgery but I do not want to
think about you having so much pain. Please let me know what the doctors say. I will be praying for you.
Please do send me the link to your Deviant page. I have one of those tablets but I can not figure out
how to use it.
It is really good to hear from you JJ and I am so pleased to here about your classes and that youa re busy and happy.
Chrono Trigger is a game for the DS. I still play games as much as ever :)
Did you ever read any more of Brisinger ?
Did I tell you I got a new laptop, it has back lit keys -- I do love it and it is navy blue !
We have been having some internet problems from all the snow we have been having -- I should email you
some pictures. We have more snow due tomorrow. I have not been able to be online too much and
I was delighted when I logged on here and saw that you had posted.
Thanks for the update JJ and I do hope you feel better very soon. I will be praying for you.

Well, Sunday morning I had a really, really bad episode with the gallstones, and my dad rushed me to the hospital. I ended up having some problems with acute pancreatitis. So they admitted me that night. After a past few days of being on really strong pain meds and eating absolutely nothing, I'm feeling much better. I'm having surgery tomorrow to have my gallbladder removed. And after that, no more problems! Yay! Lol. I'm looking forward to just going home. I do not like being a cooped up in a hospital in bed all day. It's aggravating. But my dad did bring me my laptop, so that's helped a little. Today I'm not on any pain meds and I haven't been having any pain. Which is good because if I was they would have to postpone the surgery. Did I mentioned how much I hate being in a hospital? Haha. But they said there's a good chance that they'll discharge me tomorrow night. My surgery is in the morning. But if there are an problems or complications they'll wait till friday to discharge me. I'm praying nothing goes wrong. I really want to leave. I don't like being waited on, I like doing things myself. And I'd really like to be able to take a shower everyday rather than ever couple, and sleep in my own bed.
Today was the first day I was able to eat something since saturday. Cherry jello and apple juice never tasted so heavenly!
I've put up one of my drawings that I've done so far with the tablet. The first one I did. Here's the link to my site. http://jheartsquared.deviantart.com/
I haven't read much of anything lately. I've been trying to get back into reading by reading some different types of books. Been reading Jane Austen novels. Love all the movies, never read the books. Reading Sherlock Holmes too. Those are fun!
A new laptop! Awesome!! I'm excited for you! Laptops are so much fun!! What brand is it?
I'd love to see some pictures of the snow!! That'd be awesome :)

I'm doing great! Surgery went really well yesterday! And I was able to go home last night, thank the LORD! I'm really really glad to be home. It feels so good! And I'm having very little pain, even without the pain killers it's more than tolerable. I'm planning on getting back to school on Monday, though I don't know about my Exercise walking class :. But I'm feeling pretty darn good, all things considered. Just a little sore. The worst pain is the cramps from the little pockets of gas left over from surgery. They pump you full of gas to open up everything easier. But it tends to leave little bits behind, and cause cramps. And to me cramp pains have always been the most annoying! Cause they're so constantly there, and they heighten when you breathe in. Luckily, I've been blessed with not having cramps with my menstrual cycle, so I haven't had to deal with them a lot. But I got some cramps left over from the surgery, and those have been irritating. To me they hurt more than the ache from the muscles. But they're finally starting to dissipate more. Thank goodness!
I'm SO SO SO happy to be home though! It's the best feeling in the world. The first thing I thought was "There's no place like home!" So cliche, but so absolutely true! :) My mom and I are gonna bake cookies for the employees of the floor unit I stayed with at the hospital, unit 9300. I really wanna make something a little extra special for the young woman who was my nurse for the majority of my stay. She was so sweet and caring and actually talked with me a lot. She was a Christian too! Which was awesome! I really liked her! She was such a doll. I wish more nurses were like that. She really reminded me of my mom actually. My mom has been that kind of nurse. She's very caring and attentive, and doesn't just treat you as a patient. She strikes up conversation, and treats you like a normal person. I love the quality about the way she works. So, yeah, I'd really like to do something special for Erin, my nurse. And she's hoping to transfer to the ER too, which is where my dad works in the hospital. When she told my parents that they were like "You should totally go for it! You have the perfect personality for the ER." They even told her she could use them for a reference! Which is awesome!
Anywho, all is well, and shifting back to normal. I think this was the longest week of my life. But now it's coming to an end, and everything is great!
I look forward to pictures!!

I am so glad you are home and that everything went so well. Yes home is a wonderful place to
be and it is a blessing to have a good home.
Erin sounds so nice, as you know our daughter is a nurse and it is wonderful when people say nice
things about her. I am sure that your thoughtfulness will mean a great deal to Erin. How nice of you
and your Mom to bake cookies for the staff. I bet you were quite a nice treat for Erin, not all
patients are as kind and nice as you are.
I will send those snow pictures today !
It is wonderful that you can get back to school so quickly. Now that you are feeling good again I
suspect you are eager to get back out there and start enjoying life again. It will surely be a great
relief to finally feel good.
Thank you for letting me know that you are OK, I was quite concerned.
Good morning JJ.

One of the nights in the hospital I was listening to my iPod in one ear, and one of the nurses came into to check on me. She overheard what I was listening too(songs from musicals) and said she was so surprised. That most kids listen to like rock or rap, and it was really nice to have a young patient like me for a change. I thought that was cool :)
I'm starting back to my classes tomorrow, finally :) I'm happy to go back to being a little busier. Not have anything to do is frustrating. Though I did work on make-up work. I guess that took up some time. I've been reading a bit. Mostly re-reading books lately. I think to get back into really reading, I need to just start with books I've already read, because I know I enjoy them, and then venture back into reading new things. It's been weird lately because I haven't been interested to reading. It's driving me nuts. Because I LOVE to read, but as soon as I pick up a book and read a few pages, I lose interest, or I get sleepy, or I even get a headache. But with books I've read before, there's no problem. So I'm just sticking to that for a bit.
I also get to start back to work this week! Thank goodness! I really miss that :)
The pictures were so cool! Wy looks so cute!!! :D So new dog? Calamity's an awesome name! What's the story?
Oh, and you never said, what kind of laptop did you get?
