I'm glad the cross made it there safely.

You're right, I wear a red one. I wear it everyday and never take it off...

The video has been uploaded now, towards the end, the sound is a little bit off from the pictures. Not sure what happened there, it was fine before I uploaded it. I don't think it's too bad though.

I got to see the whole video of Bare your Marks, it is very very good and oh so true. We must be willing to share our testimony and tell people about our Lord and Saviour. I noticed you already have had 17 views.
that is a great start.

It is interesting how things work out, we have been having consistent problems withour satellite connection. We got a call this morning from the Wild Blue Tech guy and he came out and sure enough after so many calls it turns out we were right. The satellite was installed incorrectly ! It has been repaired and it has made a tremendous difference in signal strength and stability and speed, it is working so much faster now. I think that is why I can now watch the video. It worked perfectly this time.

I think you are doing a very good thing, I would appreciate knowing when you add something new. I do not go to you tube much. I really did enjoy listening to that.

You said that you wear your red cross all the time, and never take it off, are they water proof. I have wondered how careful I need to be with my collection. I am wearing the gold one today. My wedding ring is gold and I rather like this one. I like them all very much though.

Good job on the video Oogy !

Glad you liked the video :)

That's good that they got your internet fixed too. I had kind of wondered about that. I'd heard they've gotten a lot better with the stability of satellite internet so was wondering about it when yours didn't sound very stable.

At the end of the process of making them they are coated in a sealant that helps protect the color and keep them from rusting. So yeah, they're water proof. On the other hand, after wearing mine everyday for over a year the seal is rubbed off in some places and it is rusted here and there... but I got it wanting something I could wear daily and not have to worry too much about being delicate with it.

You're right, this weather lately is nice. I like that it's been cooling off again.

I spent this morning starting to remodel an old house so that my church's youth group can use it as a worship center. It was pretty fun. There's still a lot that needs done, but the main goal for the day was to knock out one of the walls and replace it with a 4x4 support beam, and we got that done.

Thank you Oogy, I wear one of the crosses every time I get dressed to leave the house. I do not wear one around here because I am afraid I would manage to get it hung on something ! I like the chord at the full length and out around the barn and with the critters and such I have been afraid I would break it. I think I could replace the cord if I needed to though. I could even re dip one if need be. I enjoy them very much. I think I would feel odd to get in the truck to go somewhere without one. I do not normally wear jewelry so the simplicity and the meaning of it are very important to me.

It turns out that our satellite was very very poorly installed and the irritating part is that HR had run all of the thing you put the wire through to where he thought the thing should be installed and had everything ready to go. He did the satellite for our t.v. himself so he knew what needed to be done. The original installation guy just would not hear of it an insisted on putting the dish in a totally different place. We had no choice and we have had terrible service ! We kept calling and calling and they would say there is no trouble in your area. Since email is crucial to our business ( I had been keeping a log of the down time and problems ) HR finally called them and said that we were going to take action to get out of the contract since they could not provide adequate service for our business needs. Surprise they sent a technician out shortly after that and he was so nice and said that it was a very bad install and it should have been put exactly where HR had prepared a place. He even gave us a new receiver thing because he said where it was had been to much of a strain on the thing and it was damaged. He tested the signal when he got here and then again after the new install and it more than doubled ! It is so much faster and has been so dependable. I can get annoyed thinking about the months of frustration but HR says to just move on since they have fixed it. The tech guy did say that the original installer will have to pay back his fee that Wild Blue paid him. We paid nothing for installation and all is well now. What a difference.

17 days until ACCF. I have ordered the bundle from Amazon .com. It is free shipping and $10.00 cheaper than buying the game and Wii speak separately. I also do not have to pay tax that way. I like saving $16.00 or so.

Sorry it's been a little while since I last posted.

My shift at work changed so I've been adjusting to that.

Everything is going really well though.

Hope all is well with everyone else :)

What shift are you working now Oogy ?

Things are good hear, we have started some serious remodeling on the house and that is keeping us busy. It surely did need doing and HR enjoys it but me not so much.
