I think it is awesome --- and such a beautiful University it is ---- So many of us in College or University now --- hard to believe -- everyone is growing up except me !
I won't even mention how long ago College was for me. :( Things are so different now --- what a wonderful opportunity you young people have. I am a bit envious --- but in a good way. Learning --- we should never
stop -- always trying to learn new things, it is good for us all.

Since Kara has invested time in teaching me Aussie words and ways -- I will share that new found knowledge -- Uni = University --- a pretty easy one !
I will leave it to her to tell you about it though. I think she has made a very wise choice.

I'm going to The University of Queensland, which is in Brisbane (captial city of the state of Queensland).

I took Micro Economics last semester and really enjoyed the professor. I've also taken Macro before but that was a less than enjoyable experience. Good luck at the Uni!

Economics is the art of dealing with limited resources: Key word is scarcity.
For instance, you can draw. I can't. I can build things out of wood, I'm assuming you don't. So if I wanted a drawing, it would be valuable enough to me to perhaps "pay" with 2 pieces of my wooden creations. It's about payment (whether with money or other things) etc. Dealing with money and how to best make the use of it.
