This isn't a blog site. But I have pretty much only three things happening in my time right now. Unfortunately, in the order that they appear in the title. I wish riding was at the front. Ah, yes, and I go to church, and eat and sleep. Good times.

Sooo, I recently went on an overnight SAR Swiftwater training. That was fun especially the part where me and my team swam the river at 11:30 p.m. after completing our mock search. The river at night is cool!!! Also, during the day, all the SAR peoples played (trained) in the Merced River. We practiced swimming the rapids, throw-bagging, swiming strainers, properly jumping into swiftwater, and eating steak. It rained on us a bunch, but seeing as how we were in our wetsuits anyway, it didn't really matter. Except Miles' dog Tuck had to be dried off.

Well, at least you are keeping busy :) School will be done before you know it and you will have plenty of time ro ride as much as you want.

Then I work. So I can pay for bike parts. But I should be able to ride more. Heheh. Seeing as how I am hardly riding at all these days.

I think this is a good idea, not a blog site -- well I have my note to self topic --- Oogy has his Randonimity
topic, I like your topic Panther. One of my favorite things about Lilbro is the fact that we actually talk about
our lives and get to know each other. I really really enjoy hearing about you SAR activities.

I have always enjoyed the bike stories --- and I worry :)

Keep the stories coming !

Don't forget the eating part -- seems important.

Whoo!!!! I passed the Swiftwater practical test. Soon I will (hopefully) graduate from the SAR academy and I'll be able to go active. Next Friday we'll have a rope practical so if you could pray that my team rigs fast and safely. We have to rig correctly as a team, otherwise the whole team fails. Generally we have to run if something is wrong. The running isn't bad, (I run by myself a fair amount) but the failing part isn't so good. School is good, my CHEM-02A instructor just got his first granddaughter so he wasn't at class for a quiz and one lecture. His absence sure made me appreciate what he teaches us in class. My lecture teacher is the head of the Science department at my school, but he enjoys teaching, so that's what he does. It's nice to have good teachers.

I will be praying for you, I am thinking that you are well prepared and will do quite well, but -- prayer is always a good thing. I look forward to hearing how it all turns out.

Good teachers, yes that is very important. I am glad everything seems to be going well for you. Hard work pays off.

Stay safe Panther.

I had hoped for a report from Panther here -- I really have been wondering -- Himura -- could you ask Panther how this went unless you already know.

Thanks

Um. Hi, my name is Panther. I have a fuzzy memory of making this topic. Should I continue posting in it until my time induced amnesia goes away?

Howdy, life is still school, SAR and small amounts of riding. BUT tomorrow I don't have school and my last final is a week away and I have new wheels and new pedals and I haven't ridden the skatepark for a long time andIamgoingtogetupearlytomorrowandrideuntilIcan'tseestraight. Phew! (Can you tell I am in a state of sleep deprivation?) Cool thing is...in July I'll be going through training to get my Open Water Dive certification. Sooooo, another step towards SPEC OPS and the SEALs. HOOYAH Instructor!!!!
